Supreme Court bail for large scale production of drugs and weapons offences

On 26 November 2021, Ngarangi Rangihuna represented his client in the Supreme Court before His Honour Justice Flanagan. Our client, a man aged thirty (30) was charged with several offences including, producing and possessing (8) eight kilograms of methylamphetamine and heroin (valued at over $3 million) and possessing several firearms including (5) five assault rifles.


After hearing lengthy submissions, His Honour granted bail on various conditions. Notably, the Judge accepted submissions that neither a curfew nor a GPS ankle monitor were required in this case. The matter is currently before the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
