Charges dropped for client charged in stabbing

On 5 October 2021, Ngarangi Rangihuna appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court for a client charged in a stabbing in Eaton’s Hill, Brisbane. Our client was charged following an altercation at a private residence where the complainant had been stabbed in the arm, chest, and head. This matter was to proceed to the District Court for trial, however following submissions by Mr Rangihuna that the prosecution did not have enough evidence to link our client with the alleged offending, the charge was discontinued in the Magistrates Court and the defendant was discharged.
