Alan Phillips of our office appeared in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 14 September 2026 for an application for bail for our client.

Submissions were made to the Magistrate with respect to the allegations, that our client was not in a show cause position, and that the evidence against our client was not as strong as police alleged.

Strict bail conditions were proposed and our client was granted bail. Our client had previously been granted Supreme Court bail for drug offences and had been before the Supreme Court multiple times for aggravated drug possessions, supplying dangerous drugs, and had a previous entry on his criminal history for a conviction for acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm.
