Grievous Bodily Harm and Assault charges dismissed

In March 2024, Ngarangi Rangihuna appeared before the Brisbane District Court in relation to charges of grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm.

 

The matter was listed for trial due to commence in early March 2024.

 

Following submissions regarding the strength of the evidence, specifically relating to identification, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions dismissed all charges one day before the trial was due to commence.
